Q: where is `/etc/passwd' on WindowsNT

hi all,

i am looking on information where WindowsNT stores its database of
hashed passwords (in the registry ? below the key
\\hklm\security\sam\domains\account\users ?) and how they are stored /
hashed (md4 ?) ?

any information welcome...
